Bank Guarantee or Surety Bond?

A bank BG usually needs cash margin and sits on your credit limits. A surety bond from an IRDAI-licensed insurer can free working capital and is increasingly accepted by government departments. We help you see which fits — priced side by side.

Questions, answered

What is BharatBG?

India’s marketplace to compare and book Bank Guarantees and Surety Bonds across leading banks and IRDAI-licensed insurers — with faster issuance and transparent indicative pricing.

Is BharatBG a bank or NBFC?

No. We are an independent marketplace. Bank Guarantees are issued solely by partner banks; Surety Bonds by IRDAI-licensed insurers. We never hold your money.

How much does it cost to compare?

Nothing. There is no cost to request a callback or compare indicative offers. You pay only the issuing institution’s charges if you proceed.

Can a surety bond replace a Bank Guarantee?

For many government tenders and contracts, yes — insurance surety bonds are accepted as an alternative to a BG by a growing list of departments and PSUs. We’ll help confirm eligibility for your tender.
